Another day of firsts for little Micah. His first bath - wasn't too impressed. His first interaction with a toy - finally. His first picking up of a Cheerio - after lots of practice with Daddy. His first passport picture - and 2nd, and 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th (plus 2 trips to the passport picture store - for some reason they wouldn't accept pictures of him crying, sucking his fingers, or looking sideways! Imagine:)). His first stroller ride - well, Daddy pushed the stroller while Mommy carried him.
He has progressed to the point that he lets us touch his head and face nearly all the time now. He only pulls away in his sleep! He also spent about 30 minutes playing with my face while we were supposed to be napping - he loves to touch my eyebrows while I wiggle them up and down. He likes to put his fingers inside my glasses - odd. He also like to stick his finger up my nose - gross (OK, he learned the word NO today). He officially loves to drink from bottles.
Non-Micah news - We went to a Thai place for
dinner tonight. The menu sported such delicacies as fried ostrich livers, sliced and fried intestines, etc. I wish I could remember more! The menu was about 50 pages long - all rather interesting sounding. We ordered cashew chicken, peas with
mushrooms in garlic sauce, and noodles with chicken and veggies. Not too adventurous, I know. I'd love to have a crunchy peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich with a big glass of ice cold milk. Oh well. Soon.Sorry this is so short and sweet today, but I'm ready for bed!

Oh what joy!!!! And...oh what memories. He sounds just like Andrew when we got him. Be of good courage. He'll get really attached before you know it. It'll be great when you get him home with the other kids too.
